1 Chronicles 16:8-43 is full of praise. All those majestic deeds of this Holy God. The closing is rather profane:
Different priests are put in charge of different services. Then everyone went home, and David went home to spend some time with his family.
Can worship really be delegated to professionals that do all the praising for you? Isn’t it comforting to know, on the other hand, that when you don’t worship someone else is praying for you still?
