Let’s talk about Sex

“especially those who follow their filthy bodily lusts and despise God’s authority” worry the author of 2 Peter 2:1-22. Good thing that the Good Book has developed over roughly 1000 years in so many different contexts and this is by far not the only one. The Song of Solomon celebrates sexual passion like this: “Close your heart to every love but mine; hold no one in your arms but me. Love is as powerful as death; passion is as strong as death itself. It bursts into flame and burns like a raging fire.”
Enjoying bodily lust is a good thing, the Bible says!
