Jordan River
Here in Utah, we are used to seeing many places with biblical names. Today I want to compare three major bodies of water:

In Israel, the Jordan River flows from the See of Galilee to the Dead Sea from north to south.

In Utah, the Jordan River flows from Utah Lake to the Great Salt Lake from south to north.

The lakes are are bigger in Utah:
The Sea of Galilee has a surface area of 166 km² compared to Utah Lake’s 380 km².
The Dead Sea has a surface area of 810 km² compared to the Great Salt Lake’s 4400 km².

Utah’s Jordan river flows in the other direction and is way shorter than Israel’s:
251 km versus 83 km.
